My Bio

Huntingwildlife.net was founded in 2000 with 6 successful seasons under our belt we decided we wanted to pursue a larger scale business and lifetime dream. We started back in 1994. I had unlimited access to a few private properties where we could setup food plots, deer travel routes, trail cameras and hunting stands. Prior to our access the properties were seldom successful producing whitetail hunts. Now the same properties yield very successful archery and firearm hunts year after year.

As a Team we have hunted mainly in Lower Michigan of which we reside in and in the Upper Peninsula. Our main focus has been Whitetail deer hunting and videoing wildlife.
So far we have produced successful hunts on the Campbell’s Outdoor Challenge airing on Versus TV in May – June 2010, Multiple Hunts at the Circle T ranch featuring a handicapped hunter, archery training basics video, a wild boar hunting video, Whitetail deer DVD’s, a badger video and a Pine Martin Video.

Biography

Wayne McGregor – Owner
I began hunting when I was 9 years old. It all began with a Crossman BB gun and a small game license. I was hooked for life. It started off with squirrel, rabbit and ruffed grouse hunting. At 11 years old I shot my first buck and I was off to the races.
My family has been avid hunters for generations. I learned every different kind of tree, how to plant them, hunting, tracking and scouting from my father at an early age. Our family would go up north to a small town called Barton City where my father grew up. My Great Grand Mother was ¼ Sioux Indian. I learned allot about the ways of the woods from her. My grandmother lived there and was an avid hunter as well. I remember setting with her in the old hunting shack watching her select the right deer to harvest. During this time growing up part time in the woods I realized this was something I loved and cherished every moment with family and friends. This was the reason huntingwildlife.net was started to help others learn of the outdoors and the blessings of our abundant wildlife, eco-systems and bonding time with family and friends.
Later in life I was introduced to bow hunting by my neighbor. The minute I learned how to shoot a bow I was ready to go. I really enjoy Archery season because of the changing of colors in the fall and the total peace and tranquility followed up by the rush of an up close and personal encounter with game.
I was raised with old fashioned traditional values and everything we harvested was a part of our dinner table and a list of trees to plant to give back to Mother Nature.
In 1988 I graduated from Grand Blanc High school and attended college and CADAM training. After Cadam training I obtained employment in the Plastic Injection Molding Industry and later on went into Paint System Robotic sales and then Automotive Sales. With the computer back ground I was designing websites and ready to kick off the huntingwildlife.net.
When the first compound bows came out I went out and made my purchase. Back then the bows had about a 20-30 yards max harvest range so we have definitely improved our hunting stealth abilities. In 2003 we started www.huntingwildlife.net and have setup others with deer travel routes, food plots, scouting and stand placement. In 2004 we began videoing wildlife in the all natural environment with each new video becomes more blessings of nature. Please feel free to contact me to assist you with the love of nature.
For the years between 2005 – 2007, I focused on videoing deer, eagles, badgers and much more.
In 2009 I entered the Campbell’s Team Film School and Whitetail Qualifying Event. We won the event. I later then videoed Melissa a handicapped hunter and her father at Circle T Ranch. It was a Great Father & Daughter Event. It touched my heart in a way that if I could Team Up with the right organization we could make a great heart felt show to inspire others to hunt.
